Terms of Service
Last updated: July 6, 2026
These terms cover the Zaba iOS app and the zabapp.io website. They're short, because there isn't much to regulate between us.
The agreement
By downloading or using the app, or the zabapp.io website, you're agreeing to these terms. If anything here doesn't sit right with you, that's completely fine — just don't use the app.
What Zaba does
Zaba helps you pause before you buy: add something you want, let it cool down, reflect, then decide with a clear head. It's a tool for building better habits — not financial advice, and not a promise about your spending. What you do with the pause is up to you.
Premium
The core features will always be free with only a few limits. Premium removes them for a one-time purchase — no subscription, no recurring charges, ever. Apple handles the payment and the refunds. I don't process refunds directly, so if you need one, please see Apple's refund policy at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your data is yours
- Everything you put into Zaba lives on your iPhone. I have no servers, no accounts, and no way to see your data — the Privacy Policy covers this in detail, and the short version is: it's yours, and it stays yours.
- If you turn on iCloud Backup (optional, off by default), your data also lives in your own private iCloud, protected by Apple's encryption. I can't access it there either.
- You can delete your data anytime in Settings → Your Data. By tapping "Delete All Data", all data will be erased from your iPhone and from your iCloud backup.
Using Zaba fairly
A few reasonable requests:
- Don't try to break, reverse-engineer, or tamper with the app, or use it to do anything unlawful.
- Don't resell, redistribute, or pass off Zaba as your own.
- The Zaba name, look, and artwork belong to me. Enjoy them in the app; please don't lift them for your own projects.
App Store Terms
These terms are between you and me — Apple is not a party to them and isn't responsible for the app or its content. I alone am responsible for the app's maintenance and support; Apple has no obligation to provide either. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to such a failure are my responsibility. I, not Apple, am responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app — including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, and consumer protection or privacy claims. If a third party claims the app infringes their intellectual property rights, I, not Apple, am solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting," and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree to comply with applicable third-party terms (such as your data plan) when using the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Governing law
I'm based in Cyprus, in the EU, so these terms are governed by Cypriot and applicable EU law. If you're a consumer in the EU, none of this takes away the protections you're already entitled to under your local law.
Contact Developer
Zaba is made and run by Lolita Kamisheva, located at Limassol, Cyprus. For any questions, complaints, or claims, please email me at hello.zabapp@gmail.com.
Changes
If these terms ever change (say, when the app gains a meaningful new feature), I'll update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use Zaba after that means you're okay with the update.
